Macarthur Coal Limited (Macarthur Coal) is an Australian coal company developing a generation of coal assets in Queensland’s Bowen Basin. As of June 30, 2007, the Company held a 73.3% interest of the Coppabella and Moorvale mines. The company’s operations produce approximately 35% of the seaborne global demand for low volatile pulverized coal injection coal (PCI coal).
