Harvey Norman Holdings Limited is an Australia-based integrated retail and property company. The Company, as a franchisor, grants franchises to independent business operators, as business owners who retail products for the home and office in categories, such as electrical, computers and communications, small appliances, furniture, bedding and manchester, home improvements, lighting, and carpet and flooring. The Company operates in 11 primary segments: Franchising Operations, Retail-New Zealand, Retail-Asia, Retail-Slovenia, Retail-Ireland, Non-Franchised Retail, Retail Property, Property Under Construction for Retail, Property Developments for Resale, Financial Services and Share Trading. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2007, 23 franchised complexes were introduced, including 12 Harvey Norman complexes, one Domayne complex and 10 Joyce Mayne complexes. As of June 30, 2007, the Company operated 192 franchised complexes in Australia. On March 30, 2007, it sold Rebel Sport Limited.
